2010 Toyota Tacoma

Carsabi Fair Price

$25,310

The Toyota Tacoma is a midsize pickup truck that followed an industry trend, having been a compact truck from 1995 to 2005. When it launched, it offered two four-cylinder engines with 142 and 150 HP, and a V6 with 190 HP. Fuel economy ranged from 22 MPG to 29 MPG. There were manual and automatics, as well as two- and four-wheel drives. Options included the Prerunners with off-road trims, and the styling had a bit of rounded flair. Airbags began in 1998, and crew cab models were available in 2001. Beginning in 2005, the Tacoma became a midsize option, due to decreased consumer demand. Engines received upticks to 159 HP for four-cylinder options and 236 HP for six-cylinder models. Two- and four-door cabs were options. With the increased size and power, towing and payload increased, with towing up to 6,500 lbs. In 2009, the Toyota got a new grill and updated infotainment features. It also continued the X-runner trim with a six-speed manual and sportier suspension. Since the update it has received good to excellent marks in vehicle safety.
