2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Carsabi Fair Price

$44,127

The Mercedes Benz E-Class is the midsize luxury option with sedans, coupes and wagons available. The 2nd generation is the first one worth considering, and launched in 1996 with a more rounded exterior and four headlights. The same engine choices continued, although the diesel came with a turbocharger beginning in 1998 horsepower. Already available with front and side airbags, curtain airbags were available in 1999. No diesels were available after 2000. Safety continued to be a strong suit. The third generation launched in 2007, and came with more angular styling. AMG variants have horsepower numbers above 500 HP, as well as optional all-wheel drive, and diesel available again in 2005. The oil burner gets good fuel mileage, at 32 MPG highway. Of course, the young at heart will appreciate the ability to rip an 11.9 second 1/4 mile in the AMG.
